How to wear a shirt without a tie

Hello ladies I would like to ask you your advice regarding how to wear my shirt without a tie I usually usually close the collar but I would like to have your opinion on it

The open color look is more relaxed. I often prefer a colored t-shirt underneath. Closed it looks a bit more formal. But my husband is no fashionista, and I don't pay much attention, so we'll see what others say.

I like it both ways. It's a very American look the colored tee w open collar. I do think it's more formal and elegant buttoned. I think context might determine which choice was best.

Oh, hehe. I said: You can guess my opinion! Closed is more dignified! (And that Tammy is going to Switzerland and is looking for opinions on what to wear.)

Switzerland is indeed a place to go dressier IMO...

I prefer the buttons done up in picture #2. My husband wears a T shirt under his shirts and I always think it looks very casual.

I prefer the top button unbuttoned. My husband wears dress shirts without ties to work and that's how he wears them. He wears v-neck undershirts that don't show in the neckline.

If you opt to not wear a tie, I really like the first one. It looks relaxed and caviler in a good way. You look like someone that would be very approachable.

If you want a change, you can certainly wear the collar open. I think the closed collar is distinctive, it's different, and I've come to think of it as "your" style. I quite like it! But you shouldn't feel stuck with it, if you want to do something different now and then.

I like the closed collar look, as Firecracker said it has a distinctive vibe to it.

Without a tie, I prefer number 1, unbuttoned. As Barbara Dianne, said, it looks more relaxed. Although I also agree with Firecracker that the closed button look is very much your look.
