How to store jersey items

I've got a few jersey items that I can't figure out how to store. If I fold them they end up all wrinkly, and they are not easy to iron. But if I hang them they get those stretch marks in the shoulders, even with my expensive fuzzy hangers! Anyone have a solution?

Hey there alaskagirl! I store my clean jersey knits carefully folded, but I use white tissue paper between garment folds to prevent creasing. Do not fold the garments the same way each time, to help prevent permanent creasing.

Wow, that's impressive! I was thinking about folding and draping over a pants hanger too. Would love to see your method.

Draping MIGHT stretch knits unless they are very lightweight. I'm still looking for a step by step diagram for the tissue paper method...

Have you tried loosely rolling them? I know that method works with packing, I'd think it might help prevent wrinkles, especially if loosely rolled...

Dang.

I've searched high and low and can't any pictorial or video example of folding/rolling knits for storage with tissue paper. It's hard to describe even though I've done it many times. I'm such a visual nerd - I HAVE to have a picture!

I fold the bulk of my knits, except those that are substantial enough to not stretch on a hanger. Most of my stuff unwrinkles shortly after being put on, but if it's super wrinkly I'll toss it in my dryer on "steam mode" which lightly steams the garment then tumbles it on low heat for 10 minutes or so.

I fold my knits - and roll jersey items. I just watched the youtube video that Kate referenced (above.) Wow! She folds her thong underwear?!?!?! That just seems like waaaay tooo much trouble to me and hardly worth it! (But then, I'm kind of a slob!)

I keep mine folded on shelves in my closet. They do get a little wrinkly but nothing that hanging up overnight in the closet or for the duration of my shower in the bathroom doesn't straighten out!

I fold mine and either use the dryer method Aida referenced, or steam them with my steamer.
