I just bought a pair of beautiful new boots - and very much on sale. Unfortunately, they're about half a size too big, and the toes are very, very, very hard, the combination of which is banging up my poor toes. Any advice on how to soften up the toes of boots? They're Miz Mooz, which seem to tend to be overly hard in general, if it matters. (I like that they keep their shape, but oh my toes!)
For those who care what they look like - wasn't someone else looking for grey leather boots? - it's these:

The price was worth a slightly off fit, for sure. But my poor toes!
