Mr. M was looking at some videos last night and stopped on one called How to Look Good on Zoom. I watched part of it, but was busy and didn't get the name. The most important part for me was how the lighting should be done. Even though my office has 2 windows, at this time of year my face looks dark and in shadow. And reflects the orange walls. I took the shade off my old desk top lamp--it's falling apart anyway. Looked much better. Today Mr. M fiddled with several lamps and finally found a good one that takes up smaller space. I'd like to experiment more.
Other advice was to use a minimum of makeup--eyebrows and lips at least. I'll have to take some time to look for more, so if you have any good tips, I'd appreciate them. I noticed during class last week that my electric blue chair upholstery is intense and distracting. Today I tossed a white towel over it, but then my top didn't look good with it. I need to find a nice pleasant unobtrusive blanket or throw have as background.
Wore the Chico's pants with the Paige top. Experimented with necklaces by trying the two necklaces and pendants together. Didn't work well, so I took the round one off. It has a tiny clasp that is difficult for my fingers, so once I put it on I leave it on for several days. Time for a change anyway.
And I don't think either one goes with the metal on the neckline.
A new day, a new experiment.
