Jan, adding to Alecia's info...you can post a photo of yourself on this site, using a web based photo album. A lot of use http://www.photobucket.com You need to go to that site, and create an account (it only takes a few minutes). Then you can upload your photo to that website, then cut and paste the link from photobucket to your thread, here at YLF. This will give us access to your photo so we can help.
As far as navigating your way around this site...at the very top there you can choose to navigate to this section, which is the FORUM, or you can pop over to Angie's BLOG--which is always helpful. You can request to have her blog posts sent to your email on a daily basis. You can comment and read other's comments about Angie's blog topics. Or you can go to the GUIDE, and get general info on some predetermined topics...or you can go to the STORE and see some of Angies favorite shops.
When you are in the FORUM option (you are in the FORUM now). You will see tabs along the top (below the upper options I just mentioned). These tabs are different subjects that we can post our questions or ideas to. I mostly just use the RECENT CONV. tab, because I check the forum up several times thruout the day. But if you are looking for a specific question thread, then you can search in whichever topic tab you think it might be posted.
When you post a question, at the bottom of the page, there is a pull down menu tool that lets you pick which topic you want your question to post to. I often forget to do this, but the question gets posted anyway. It's not that big a deal.
