Today's necklace became a casualty tonight while making dinner. As I was taking dinner out of the oven, I felt my necklace pull when I closed the oven door. I also heard the sound of beads bouncing on the floor. I looked down and saw my necklace intact but sans pendant. I looked all over the floor for the pendant. I found it stuck in the vent hole of the oven in pieces. I guess you can put a round peg in a square hole!
