How to create an unbroken line with these pants

So I bought these Hugo Boss pants: http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/bo.....rs/3657639

The material is drop-dead gorgeous. It has the most subtle of patterns and a slight sheen. Black patent leather heels look very nice with it, but I don't ever want to see another pair of black shoes. I've got lots of colored shoes that would suit, but I really want a go-to basic if the other shoes don't match the weather/shirt/occasion etc.

This is for work, so no strappy sandals, open-toes, etc.

I really like a metallic option for those - silver, platinum or pewter. Fortunately there are a lot of options here to choose from so I am sure you will find one.
The ones you linked are nice but I would prefer to see mor of an almond or pointy toe with wide leg opening like this.

Em- those pants look beautiful online. I think you can pair a metallic or any shade of grey shoes with them as an alternative to black. I also saw a lot of deep cognac with charcoal gray last fall, if that would work. A pointy toe looks very fresh with wider leg pants these days. It could have a heel of whatever height works, including d'Orsay styles, ankle straps, etc. The pants length with the model's shoes is not the best to my eye; I like Angie's almost to the floor, toe peeking out approach to this silhouette. What a great find!

Thanks for your replies. The pants have been hemmed and are slightly narrower now, as I prefer to have a clean line of material to my shoe that doesn't come near the floor; otherwise, I feel like an elephant.
