How to accessorize this Anthro dress?

I have ordered this dress to try out for my sister's wedding coming up this fall. Just curious about how you would accessorize it. Would you try a necklace or resort to larger, perhaps dangling earrings instead? Any other suggestions? If the dress works I will probably pick up a wrap/shawl to wear with it as well.

I would accessorize with the shoes and bag (maybe metallic?) and possibly larger dangly earrings depending how they work with how you are going to wear your hair. I think it would be hard to find a necklace that worked with the pattern of the dress and the neckline so would avoid that.

I would skip a necklace to leave the pretty neckline of the dress clean and go with earrings (as shown in the stock photo, really). For myself, that would be either oversized rock crystal studs or something more dramatically long but then I'm firmly on Team Big Earrings

Just one more reason not to add a necklace: the fine sheer fabric looks delicate enough that any jewelry may snag it.

The neckline of the dress is so lovely on its own. No necklace needed. Perhaps add a bit of sparkle at the ears (I like Aida's suggestions of large rock stud crystals) or carry a statement clutch.

I immediately had the same thought as Cjh, the fabric could snag with a necklace. Go with earrings and a clutch bag.

Thank you all for the help. Before I start jewelry shopping though (for earrings, not a necklace!) I need to get the dress and try it on. My figure is rectangle/IT-ish, and reading kellygirl's thread about her daughter's formal gown search, I am now wondering if this dress is a mistake - if it will provide too much shoulder line emphasis. Ugh, I hope not. I really like it.

The model has broad shoulders and looks good in it, so I think your chances are high that it'll work out. It's a very pretty dress!

Thanks Smittie, I hope so. I have larger upper arms than her so we shall see. I usually gravitate toward slim skirts, but in this case I think the fuller bottom helps balance the top. I will just have to try it to see.
