I have a question for all of you who wear ballet flats: How are they supposed to fit? I can't find a pair that are comfortable and look good on my feet. I wear a European size 42 (that's a US size 10 or UK size 8). I always have problems with gaping at the sides and I feel like I will loose the shoes when walking. I think the problem is that they are all so low cut.
I do have two pairs with straps across the foot that hold them in place, but they look a bit like doll's shoes to me (well, except for their size).
Do your ballet flats gape at the sides, too? Or is there a secret to wearing them? Any ideas?
