Definitely not too much! I think that you might feel a little uncomfortable at first, but then the reassurance of compliments would make it feel perfect. You are BOUND to get praise with the bag. Gorgeous.
I think it can DEPEND in certain outfits, mainly if a focal point is needed and if accessories fight that. But that would be true of ALL the accessory choices and not defined by matching shoes and bag.
I thought I had replied to this shortly after you posted but apparently I was mistaken. Perhaps I was so overcome by envy about that bag that I wasn't thinking straight.
SO GLAD YOU GOT IT and there is no such thing as too much metallic silver!!
Glad you bought the tote! Joy’s silver wrap is now on my radar. . .The other thing to remember especially as the years go by is that silver will increasingly bookend your hair. That means that you and I will be able to up the amount of silver without looking OTT.
No such a rule, of course, but I for myself have times when I cannot do both in one outfit (not only metallic, but other very brights either- like intense red or intense cobalt-when faded is OK for me-think is about adjusting the level of contrast)...just sayin', it's all about how you fell when wearing, but aesthetically love them seeing matched!
