How many pumps do I need?

I used to be a ballet flats girl but lately I find them not me . I'm craving for heels now . I have a nude pump ,a snakeskin one and a mauve pump (which I wear only for parties).
WHat I wonder is do I need to buy any more or can I manage with these

I second Astrid. But if your definition is very strict, you can wait. For fall/winter I wear black/dark shoes all the time due to elongating effect with dark tights.

BTW - have you seen this store in Stavanger: http://shop.kjoledamen.no/ Not exactly you style, but they have some really nice pieces that are not too "far out" either. I love this retro style and they would probably be able to make alterations if needed.

I too am craving heels now. I have 6 pairs of ballet flats, and I m getting tired of them. But then I sort of collect shoes and jackets,so have more of same than I need. Am even looking at some of those more casual shoes with like 2 inch heels for fall and winter. I always find having 1 or 2 pairs of black that can go with anything from jeans to party type dressy, and am thinking booties and or higher cut pumps, or fancier oxfords may be what I want. If anyone has any photos of these I would like to see them.

What percentage of all of your shoes are the heels you have now and what percentage of the time do you wear them? I'd let that be my guide. Shoes need a day to air between wearings and having just two pair you would have to alternate days or wear the mauve for daytime or switch in some of the ballets you arent liking right now (given smart shoes would be needed everyday, which I am not sure is the case for you)... but this is how I would go about making a decision
