I’m a minimalist, and have maybe 70 items or so. I have enough to fill 1 closet and 1 chest of drawers. I feel much more in control when “everything has its place” and that means a small wardrobe.
I sometimes think it would be even better to distil my wardrobe down even more, so that there is space between each hanger, like in some blog posts you see.
The biggest issue I face is never having enough sweaters. It would be great to have, say, 20 mid-weight sweaters but I only have around 5 or 6. There is really no space for them and I am wondering now if I need another chest of drawers.
