Right here's what I'm left with
4 crossbody bags~ 1 medium purple, 1 medium white, 1 small black snakeskin effect, 1 large greeny colour (the Ylf meet one)

5 evening bags~ 2 matching leather clutch's 1 in black, 1 in cream, studded black leather, turquoise sequinned one and a pink clutch.

2 waist bags~ 1 pewter, 1 brown

11 day bags~ 1 yellow Radley bag, small turquoise tote, medium tan slouchy bag, raffia basket bag, aubergine patent, purple ruffle, leather and suede patchwork, tapestry hand held bag, white pleather, large tan pleather tote, canvas zebra print, small red leather.

Which makes 22 oops 24 if you count a clear shopper and peacock shoulder shopper.

I am undecided on the following

Green peacock bag, velvet type gladstone shoulder bag, large red pleather bag, black and cream flower print bag x

6- three in regular rotation, 1 oversized pink bag that I hang on to in the event that I need a stylish poolside bag, and 2 clutches. I would rather spend money on shoes

I have 2 Brahmin bags (one lighter color (light tan)for spring and summer, one (rich cognac) for fall and winter that are my 'main' bags, plus 7 Mary Frances whimsical bags for special occasions, 1 Timmy Woods (carved in wood) Chinese Shar Pei dog bag, and a couple Kathy Van Zeeland bags when Im grubbing.

I have one cross body bag for work or trips. One soft briefcase/tote. One burgundy handbag. One turquoise handbag. One small military green handbag. I think that's it.

Elly, I hope you are okay. How frightening. Best wishes that you heal quickly.

I think I have 7, mostly leather or pleather bags in solid colors: a slouchy mauve bag, large brown and white giraffe print bag (the handles are cracking, so I'm using this sparingly), a dark brown patent tote that is my "formal" bag, a cream ruffled bag with a wooden handle, yellow crossbody bag, coral bag that was a hand-me-down from my aunt, and recently acquired purple crossbody bag. Ever so slowly, I'm starting to use more than 1 handbag per season, though I only rotate once a month or so.

Elly, I am so sorry to hear about your accident and that there was blood involved ! Thank goodness you are ok.

BECAUSE you are ok, I have to make a joke : you said that your bag had blood and red drink on it. Are you some sort of vampire ?

I have to go count my bags now.

Thanks for the concern ladies! Isabel-- you cracked me up! That is hilarious, perhaps I am-- I had stopped at sonic for a drink on the way out of town and was bringing one to a friend that was still at work. Hers was a strawberry limeade with extra strawberries and the impact literally made the Route 44 cup explode. My entire right side was covered in red liquid and chunks of strawberry. That was also the side that I sliced my hand and arm open on (on what I still can't figure out). It was quite comedic and I got quite a few double takes! Not serious enough cuts to need stitches, just enough for me to get blood on everything before I realized that I wasn't just red and sticky because of the drink!

I am coming in behind Angie the bag ~queen~ at 36 total.

Dozens! I tend to pull one out and wear it hard, then tire of it and pull out another one. I need to do some culling in that area, too... Hmmm. Another challenge next month, perhaps...?!

Good job, Louise!

Oh, elly! How frightening! That would really leave a bad taste in my mouth. Glad you are okay - albeit shaken I'm sure.Do you have to purchase a new car?

7 handbags (black, white, bone, red, yellow, muted fuchsia, gunmetal metallic). And it's possible that one more (cognac) is on its way to me as we speak.

It's also possible that one more bag (black patent) is in the pile of items soon to be on its way to Mae...

Sigh, there was a time I had LOTS (25-30) of handbags, I've pared them down to the following at the moment:
4 crossbody bags: black, white, brown printed, white/gray printed
3 shoulder bags: white, yellow and black
1 work tote: large enough for a laptop in black
1 small dressy bag-silver mesh
2 clutches/wristlet style-patent purple and brown printed
2 satchels-black and one black/brown trimmed

The silver mesh bag is used the least as it is an occasion bag.

The crossbody bags are used year round, usually weekends, except the white which is reserved for spring/summer.

The shoulder totes are summer bags except the black one, since it's on the smaller size it's a "going out" bag for me.

The clutches/wristlets are often inside a larger bag in the winter for grab n go ease. In the summer I use a white wallet instead of the wristlets since my summer bags are smaller in size overall.

The satchels are used fall and winter, since they are larger and fit over coats better.

At one point I would match my bag EVERYDAY to my outfit, I tend not to carry much so that was easy for me to do. Now I'm a little lazy and will go on a week or two week basis before mixing it up.

April: SHUT UP! (I mean that in the most Stacy way possible.) SQUEEEEEEEEEE!!

14. Three from Coach (turquoise, tan, and pink/red), three from LAMB (navy, zebra, white), a Kate Spade (oil slick patent), a Lanvin (patent dove grey), a Chloe (silver), a D&G (black), Alexander Wang (black), Fossil (off white), Tous (tan), 2 clutches forgot the brand (pink, black & gold).
I thought I had more. Some I haven't used in years.

Angie-- I do have to buy a new car. The frame was damaged to the point that it is considered totaled. I am waiting on the insurance to see what they will give me for it, but I have a feeling I am going to have to fight with them on the amount. Their first estimate was way under the value of the car, let alone what I could buy something similar for locally.

I need to count but according to my husband more than any woman needs.

I have 17 in different shapes and sizes. Some black and some in different shades of brown ( caramel, deep burnished brown ) . 1 forrest green, 1 yellow, 1 mahogany, 1 tomato red, and one more of a cranberry red..

Now, that doesn't include canvas totes ( like LLBean ) , probably 5 in different sizes and 4 back packs in different sizes for heavy duty hikes, day hikes, camping and including a completely insulated one for outings in the summer with my kids.

I use everything at some point during the year for many outings, except for my evening bags. Those get rotated over the holidays.

Thanks for all the counting. I see I don't have an overly large collection. I'm going to try to be more selective with purchases and go for something of higher quality x
