How long do you spend at NAS?

I'm not counting Angie because she is "special" :p

I'm just wondering how to budget my time. Neither myself nor my mom have a lot of shopping stamina, especially when things are chaotic and frenzied as they will be tomorrow, so I need to plan ahead how I'm going to deal with it...

I've never been, so I am just planning to spend the whole day. I'm packing food and water to sustain myself!

My shopping limit is 4 hours. Then I need a break. Maybe plan for two hours at a time, then grab lunch or something, go back if you feel you missed something? Or pick only 1-2 departments and just spend your time in those then leave.

Maya, I went alone and our local store is quite small. It still took two hours. Can you break up the time with a relaxing lunch?

I've never been to a NAS. My closest Nordies is 2hrs away, so it's always an adventure, and I get so jazzed up, I can probably go on for hours and hours. It's a really good idea to take a break for lunch or snack, and let your mind rest a bit.

And I also walk through calmer depts to cool down (even depts I don't care about). I have no idea if there will be any calm area at the NAS opening weekend.

Definitely plan a lunch break or even a coffee/tea break after about two hours (or sooner if needed). Then I'd go back in for another hour (or two, if up to it)

You can probably have an SA hold the items for you that you aren't positive about, while you take that break and think things through. . . I love taking a few minutes to clear my head, make a some notes, consider those things on hold. . .

Otherwise the alternative for me has been to bring it all home and figure it out later :-\

Never been to NAS as you know but I think tea and cup cakes will help as well as wearing clothes which will really easy in the changing room such as no buckles on shoes. I'm very impressed by all of your stamina.

Pace yourself! It took Kristen and I about 2.5 hours, maybe a little less, to go through all the tents during presale, and then to try things on.

Have fun Maya. I always pack water and dress in clothes that can be easy to take on and off. And wear comfy shoes of course. I usually plan on a good 4 or 5 hours if I can afford it.
