How I store my bags and necklaces.

I've been slowly hacking away at the disaster zone that is my closet. I've had my accessory area finished for awhile now. Since Angie recently posted about bag and necklace storage, I thought I'd have a little show and tell of my own.

1) Now you see it.
2) Now you don't. This little cabinet sits on the floor at the back of my closet. As you can see, I'm at maximum capacity, so I'm going to try to be ruthless with the one in, one out rule. (I hope! Eeek!)
3) Now you see it.
4) Now you don't....well, you know what I mean. I couldn't resist getting this double sided sliding tie rack that fits with my Elfa closet system from the Container Store. The pretty pink jewelry holder was a recent Christmas present from my cousin.
5) Right next to the jewelry holder is a 2 1/2 foot section that holds various bracelets and extra stuff. (I haven't yet found the right bracelet holder, so this baby hanger will have to do for now.) Plus underneath the bracelets....
6) ...my hanger body form. (When not stylized, she wears a Cubs shirt for modesty around the kiddos. LOL!) Before Hubby bought me my dress form, I did my styling experiments on this little lady. Now, I use her to display recent purchases that I'm mulling over, like this coral and cream scarf.

I can't show the rest of my closet yet, because that is still a big project! Thanks for checking out my accessory fun zone!

I'm going to have to look up that sliding tie rack - never would have thought of using it for necklaces.

This is wonderful! How fabulous to be able to see everything neat and organised. Have you found it easier to plan your outfits? You make me want to go and organise my own wardrobe!

Beautiful, AJ! I remember the great folding link you posted a year ago - so at least my cami's and T's are organized :).

Sylvie - Yes, it's so cool. I have both sides filled with baubles. I need to edit!

San and Katiepea - Yes, it's nice to have everything easily viewed and within reach. It definitely has made planning my outfits easier. A handy little colorwheel has also been mighty helpful. : )

Louise - (Sigh) Only the stuff I've shown you is somewhat organized. The rest is still a mess.

Lynne - So glad you found that link helpful! My cami's and T's are getting tamed from that method. : )

Hmmm...I don't seem to have that folding link. I'll have to do some more digging around. It's a hoot just watching what this woman will fold!

AJ your closet is an inspiration! One suggestion for the bracelets on the baby hanger. Would it work to but them in the larger pockets of the pink jewelry organizer from your cousin? I use mine that way but some of your bracelets may be wider.
