Is it surviving through drought and heat? Or are you getting deluges where you live? Deadheading the roses and salvia after June blooming resulted in flowers again this month, and it looks like the Shasta daisies and Phlox will repeat as well. The lavender has thrown up a few late stems as has one day lily, but nothing like their earlier showing. The veg patch is still producing: tomatoes, Zucchini, green beans. The basil loves the heat! The lettuce doesn’t. We’ve had potatoes twice - I dig up one plant and the tubers go from garden to pot to plate in under an hour. I had a few green onions, but most of them just disappeared! I don’t know if they got shaded out, or if the varmints got them. The carrots are taking their time and are only the size of a pencil atm.
