how does Nordie's backorder work?

Oh, that's interesting, Mo. I ordered some earlier this week and they have shipped. I ordered petite though. (I actually ordered a regular last week and it was very long. I could have just shorted the straps but figured since I could just buy it in petite, that would be easier.). I liked it a lot by the way- soft and not clingy or riding up. I sized up but that's mostly because I prefer a looser fit for my camis.

Anyway, yes the sale price holds for back ordered items. They don't charge your card until it ships. Sometimes you get lucky and get a return. (not your size, unfortunately, but I sent a L olive back this morning.)

Oh, good to know Diana! One question on the petite - are the armholes up higher or is it the same as normal sizing, just shorter length to the bottom hem? I'm shortwaisted like you so petite might work if the armholes aren't too tight.

I'm not sure, since the petites haven't arrived yet. I'm hoping they are higher. The straps on the regular were too long (the top of my bra was showing in front) which made the armholes too deep as well. If they didn't come in petite, I would have just shortened them from the top.
