How do You Wear Mid-Calf boots?

Lately I have had a desire for mid-calf boot but I am not sure how to style them. Or if they are really my style at all. Those of you who wear them, how do you all wear and style them?

I have mid-calf boots with a faux-slouch (looks slouchy but doesn’t move). I wear them mainly with skinny jeans or other slim pants. I appreciate that the height works on me whereas knee-high boots are often too tall on me.

Been pondering that too, I was gifted a pair of unique cowboy boots and not sure how to wear them. In my case, considering dresses/skirts with them.

I like them with dresses and skirts or with straights/skinnies tucked it. They’re my favorite!

Most often with midis that come down to around the top of the boots. Or under pants that are wide enough to go over them: the advantage is that if I cross my legs or do something else that makes the pant legs ride up, my ankle/lower calf is covered by the boot. For those of us who are always cold, this is helpful!

I wear mine with skinnies tucked in, or with skirts of all lengths.

I used to do tights and skirts/knit dresses. Slim, not quite skinny jeans worked for me. Currently I see a lot of straight pants/jeans tucked into the boots in the advertising and I'm not sure if I'd like that on me ( on a right person it works ). Cropped pants to showcase the boots maybe?..

I have mid-calf harness boots and I wear them with skinnies. I would also wear them with straight leg Jean's if I found a pair I liked.
I've seen them worn with dresses, and also leggings.

I wear mine with cropped straight jeans, since the shafts are high enough to go under the hems of the jeans.

I also wear mine with skirts if the shaft is closely fitted to the calf.

Hmm. This is so weird. I totally had this thing where I had to always have mid-calf brown boots and now I can’t remember why. There was a very specific outfit I liked to wear. In any case, I’d wear them with a long straight/pencil skirt right now. And woven mini skirts with leggings/skinnies. And my crop flares.

I am the same as Kellygirl, I wear with dresses and skirts and skinnies tucked in. My mid calf boots are quite heavy looking, but with some bling or embroidery to soften the effect (in Finds).
