Wow - these are gorgeous ! I don't even want to click over to the Ron White site for fear of loving them even more.
Anyways, I dreamed up 3 looks for you while trying to fall asleep last night after reading this .
1. luxe joggers/sweats with matching top, tucked into the boots, and a statement puffer (maybe a short one for fun?) . Could be in rust, ivory, pale grey .Print scarf to tie in boots and sweats/coat.
2. cropped faded black or grey jeans - barrel (which makes me laugh because who wants to look like a barrel ?), straight or wide legs, even a kick flare , floral silk top with teal in it , and leather jacket (moto or blazer) .
3. black athletic type leggings or adidas track pants or faux leather skinny pants, oversize sweater , statement menswear type coat .
I see them working with rusts, teals, greys, lilacs, black, browns. Super versatile. Do you follow fellow Canuck Liv Judd on Instagram? She does these types of outfits SO well, and has been tucking in baggy sweats, pants etc into boots and making it look really great. Of course she's model thin and beautiful , so everything looks superb, but her styling ideas are fantastic.
I wear my black combat-type boots (second find) with skirted leggings , regular Lulu leggings, or a dress. Never wear them with jeans - a little too casual of a look for me I think. My olive green combat boots (first pic) are not getting the wear they deserve, and I need to address that for next winter.
