A bit of navel gazing (and procrastination)....it is still too hot for me to get fully into F/W, and I'm still doing analysis for fashion direction after a change in lifestyle. I'm working up to a seasonal shop to replenish/update my closet and would like to commit to adding camel/carmel/toffee and mustard yellow to my essentially neutral (black, grey, white, navy) closet. I do have red as an accent.

However, while doing a tidy up of my closet and drawers I discovered a capsule of sorts in mauvey pink and green! In addition to the items below, I have a green leather tote, aubergine leather jacket, and floral backpack that fit the Mood. The t-shirts, shorts, and mauvey sweater are new this summer, but the other items are older. And now I find I'm drawn to adding a silvery pink puffer and olive pants to the collection! (I don't actually have any camel/carmel/toffee in my closet other then a 5 YO leather jacket, and I don't have ANY yellow.)

Are the colours of the capsule below 'old' (olive seemed popular last year)? Should I add to this capsule? Should I move on to a new palette? Do you think the lighter golden browns and yellows I'm contemplating can mix and match with the colours of this capsule (as well as my neutrals)?

I want to add 2-3 warm bottoms, 2-3 warm tops, a jacket/topper, and a scarf or two. Possibly a puffer, vest, or coat. I WILL NOT be adding black, blue, or blue jean (unless in a pattern).

Have you ever had a PLAN, only to veer off on a tangent? Did it work out? Did you regret it? I think my heart is having an argument with my head resulting in fashion paralysis! Advice and insight welcomed.
