How can I make these pieces look more warm-weather-ish?

I have a pair of full length dark gray linen/viscose blend pants and this jacket: https://halsbrook.com/catalog/product/94058. Together, they look very fall-ish. What can I do to make them more appropriate for a city holiday in May?

Split them up? The jacket would look great over a dress, and you can wear a light colored top with the pants.

What Cat2 said…wear the burgundy blazer over a column of white. Try the grey pants with a pastel blue or some pink.

A floral, lightweight top or skirt are the first things that come to my mind. ‘Flimsier’ shoes too… ie not boots. Sandals perhaps.

Wear them with tops, accessories and footwear in light colours like icy pink, light blue, light green and white.

Do you have a different blazer? Maybe a lighter one or denim? To me burgundy is fall and winter, but I tend to connect colors to the time of the year. The gray linen should go with anything I would think.

What cat2 and kkards said. Remix the separates with light neutrals, light blue, lemon, white, blue denim, pink, and red.

I’d put the blazer with pink for an on-trend color pairing. The pants sound like they could play with brighter colors, maybe something floral or something like the green top in Nikki’s recent post.
