It's an uncharacteristically sunny day here.
We'll have the same party we've had for 20+ years! Tonight, we'll have three other couples --friends from undergraduate days, our extended family-- and some assortment of young people (our combined children range 13 - 28, and their friends usually drop by) join us for a cold supper, music-making, and shouting in the street at midnight.
Nobody dresses up for this party except the hostess! Never have, never will. I have hopes of two of the younger generation, though.
Sparkly top, jeans, pumps.
