Full disclosure: I'm already wearing this and had to go in to work early, so there's no possibility of changing pieces, only adding or subtracting them. Pants are obviously non-negotiable lol

How many pieces do you think it takes to make an outfit costume-y, or just too over the top? There's the horse buckle on the belt, a horse on the graphic tee, some dangly jewelry on leather straps, and the brown leather vest. At least I knew better than to wear my brown riding boots haha! I can't lose the belt it's necessary with these pants, and I feel like if I ditch the vest I'll lose the black and brown combo look. Could lose the button down I suppose, the office has been rather warm lately. Or I could take the tee off and have only the black tank top, but then the back brace would feel very visible to me.

Any advice/opinions/input?

+ a pic of my back brace that I'm getting fed up with
