Thank you, caro. Obviously I can't speak for others here, but we got through it fine, no loss of power, and the biggest headache is that our street hasn't been plowed yet and I'm having to dig out my car (and will need to repeat that after the plows come through). Very small problems, in other words. We did get well over two feet of snow, though.
Caro how nice of you. We have not had power or plumbing since Friday. We may have another 4 days without. But we have Woodstove and camping equipment so we are relatively warm. We are melting snow for bathroom water. We are soooooooo lucky.
We got loads of snow but did not lose power, so it's all good. The biggest hassle right now is that the sidewalks and roads are disgusting, but at least public transportation has started running again. Times like this I am glad I don't own a car!
