Whatever makes you feel beautiful! You've got great arms and I think a strapless, one strap, or halter dress would show them off nicely. Something with a bit of a flared skirt to balance your lower half with your top half. I don't have that kind of muscle mass but I do have broad shoulders, so that's why I suggested those styles. Hope it helps!

Also check out #6 on this post. If you like sleeves, I think something like that would look great on you! And if not, you can probably find something similar without sleeves. The interesting drape compliments an athletic body type very well.

Would a dress with a open midsection be good on me? I want to show off a bit of my abs since i'm really proud of it. I'm not sure though I might look too masculine..

Sure! Dresses with cut-outs are very stylish. If you're worried about it looking too masculine, just find something with a feminine aesthetic. Soft fabric, a bit of drape, some embellishment, etc. And remember accessories, hair, and makeup can also have a big impact.

Alright I'll take that into account when I buy a dress. I'm still very much open to other suggestions So just keep suggesting if you've got an idea

Here's a dress I currently have, if my pickiness doesn't mess this dress shopping fiasco.

That's pretty! See, the drape of it highlights your curves and therefore looks feminine. But I hope you can find one that's more what you're looking for. Good luck!

The dress is beautiful. Looking at your pics... I think you look lovely in #2 and 3. The thing about #1 is the armholes are low and tight. You're so lean, but it looks like they're squeezing you visually. It's not your body, it's the armhole placement. So I'd think about that. Otherwise, I can't imagine there's any style you can't wear. Show off your muscle!

So what do you think fit's me best? In your honest opinion should I go more revealing showing abs, pecs etc or a traditional style dress with sleeves. Thanks again for the feedback!! It motivates me to get bigger and and leaner!!

In my opinion? Show it off, but in a subtle way. Full-on body con will make you look like you're about to perform gymnastics, which is not a bad thing, just not what you want to do on the night. Think off-duty superhero, more Diana Prince than Wonder Woman.

You could go the minimalist route and let your pecs do the talking. Here's a picture (by Robert Mapplethorpe) of body builder Lisa Lyon in a Greek style gown. For a more contemporary look, you could try a full skirt and crop top combination which will show off the abs. Either way, you will not look masculine. You will look amazing.

Well i've got till next week to decide, these are all amazing suggestions! If you have anymore just put it up here it would reallyyyyy help me.

And I just realized i'm going to look larger than my prom date.. I'm 5'10 he's 5'8 but if I do go sleeveless don't you think it would intimidate people because this prom is mix-ins of different schools basically, I barely know my prom date and I think vice versa we've only talked thrice,I told him I look like this blah blah and Maybe he thinks I was exaggerating. I really like him he loooksss sooooo cute. But since he doesn't know how I look like besides my face since I was wearing like a jacket everytime we met. So what do you think about this dilema?

Sleeved off the shoulder would be stunning, I think, and date friendly...

I'm confused, as I always thought Homecoming was in the fall and Prom was in the spring. Regardless, I vote you try on lots of dresses and wear what you like best. You have an amazing body, and someone who would be intimidated by your arms isn't worth your while. I'll grant that's a lot easier to live/believe as you get older, but you clearly love fitness/body building. Why would you be interested in someone who found that to be a turn-off or intimidating? You do you.

Generally speaking, I don't mind smaller abdominal cut-outs, but giant midriff-baring dresses aren't my thing. I just don't think they are that appropriate for a formal-ish dance.
