Hello all you lovely fabbers. I have been absent while getting the new house in order. I made a fair bit of progress this weekend. I wanted to add a bit of color over the builder beige so when the painter cancelled and I had a Friday off, I decided to paint the DR myself. I found a new contractor to do the BR and ensuite in two weeks. That evening, we recovered the kitchen chairs. That went well, so Saturday morning, we recovered the 6 DR chairs. We had guests for dinner so didn't get much else done but cleaning up and making dinner. This morning we golfed 9 holes and then I redid the breakfast bar chairs. Tony also installed a dimmer on the DR chandelier and a SS tip out tray below the sink.
I still need to stencil the DR wall and hang the mirror, blinds and curtains but the walls are painted, chairs recovered, and rug in place.
