Holy smokes, what's happening to me?

So Totokaelo's big sale is happening this weekend.

But I'm like "eh". It's so weird for me. I skipped the Nordstrom Half Yearly, didn't hit the Barneys sale. The only stuff I bought from the Net-a-porter sale was gear.

Shifting minset eh? If you are anything like me it will be a passing phase but I love it when I really do have enough and all I need
. You do need to keep your hiking gear in the cred though, and so it shifts. I've just come out of a gym gear phase- have too much and never get there. Ha.

Holy smokes is right. I just checked out your link. Pity they all use FedEx to Oz. it makes a steal a hollow victory but they do have gorgeous clothes. I understand your dilemma!

Heh. I feel like I have some version of everything I lust after, which is good, but not everything I actually need because those things are boring to me. Fortunately the Theory suit is at the tailor and may rock my new world.

That's great! This happens to me when I really like the things in my closet or when I'm not so excited about what I'm seeing in the stores. Either way, it is a good thing because you know you are really aware of what is working for you and you are deciding not to buy things just for the thrill of having something new. I think for you this probably means that you have things you really like and realize you want to wear more and in the back of your mind you are thinking about your style persona and sensing a shift that you are making room for. I agree with everyone else. Enjoy and sock away your cash for future delights!

Kristin, what a timely and great link to Garance Doré's blog. I especially liked the idea that maybe, just maybe, we are overwhelmed with too many images. I know that if I stray far YLF and Beverlylikehills, I get really, really overwhelmed with images. I almost become paralyzed by so much choice.

Probably that is closet nirvana. You are happy with what you have at the moment and don't feel the need to buy anything in specific.
I am sure that when Fall comes new silhouettes or colors will appeal to you .Enjoy the moment.
