I mostly sat by a lake with a flavored seltzer and a frivolous novel, but I did buy a few things in Maine.
1. Macrame, lapis, and silver necklace by an artist selling her work at a farmers’ market
2. Duplicated my beloved Liberty Graphics owl shirt because the black version was in the discontinued bin (as were several other prints in colors I didn’t like so I resisted them).
3. Could not resist this hooded sweatshirt at our favorite doughnut shop.
4. On the way home, I impulse-purchased this vintage (80s?) lightweight cotton skirt in a “shop closing in 5 minutes” situation. Maybe a mistake? It’s arguably a strange not-QUITE-maxi length and I cannot wiggle the elastic waist past my bum, but I can successfully pull it on over my head. (Once it’s on, the waist is not tight at all.) The pockets sold me.
5. Clearer pic of skirt from the changing room.
