I find myself slightly obsessed with this year's makeup offerings from luxury brands. Last year I didn't even look at them, but this year, somehow I've been sucked in and have a bad case of the wantsies.

Mostly I like Chanel and Dior holiday limited edition items, but I'm open if you've seen some fabulous items you'd like to share

I'm waffling, I'll go on Friday to see them in person and that should help me decide.

--I hear fantastic reviews of the Chanel red gloss, it covers like a lipstick, and a red lip has almost become a signature of mine lately

--The Chanel eyeshadows are what caused the sensation for me, I'm intrigued by the bronze and green colors, but worry about the wearability on a daily basis (I wfh and live a very casual lifestyle), but even I know, it's all in the application ... I do have a couple events over the next few months where I could amp up my look and go all out, the rest of the time is normal/casual day to day life.

--The Dior eye palettes may be more functional, I like both, actually

--Curious about the highlighters as well - don't want any sparkle, but sheen and glow are good in my book

Any other makeup junkies out there?
