I missed your holiday capsule posts while I was away a week ago and just stumbled upon them now. What a great idea! I love that you're adding a little festive spirit to your outfits without being obvious or resorting to novelty items. That red dress is amazing on you! Thanks so much for the holiday inspiration.

What a lovely post....thank you for sharing your thoughts on incorporating the colors and symbolism of the holiday in your outfits.

Wow, you've outdone yourself. I like the dressinessbut not over-the-top looks you've created.

The print skirt continues to be fantastic--has it seemed that way to you?
It's only about a year since I ventured into "notable" print skirts, and it has been really fun. I worried that I should stick to solid neutrals, and I still need to have those, but now prints are on my radar!

Yes, UF, I just created another Holiday capsule outfit with the b/w print skirt. This time, I'm adding a black t-neck and oodles and oodles of pearls! Solid bottoms are a mainstay, but a few patterned skirts and colored pants can open up lots of other possibilities. Pre YLF, I relied almost totally on black and denim bottoms and printed tops.

I always love to see that printed pencil on you, Beth Ann-and as fella UF also love some of these kind for me, too! And your red dress outfit is also very festive! Suits you perfectly!

Very clever. I am enjoying your holiday looks. My favorite of this group is the vest, a lovely piece.

Inspiring!

Great winter looks! Have you tried that grey vest over your long skirt?

Seconding that I love the scroll-print skirt every time you wear it.

Good idea, Krish, I've not tried to pair the vest and skirt. I do wear the vest often, and with other, knee length pencils.
