Hold on spring and summer shopping

I have bought a few things for spring/summer but with the job hunt on I have decided to put the brakes on. I went on three different interviews last week for three very different jobs. I am suppose to hear on Monday or Tuesday about all three. I definitely have my preference.
The reason I have decided to put the brakes on shopping is that any of these jobs is going to cause a wardrobe shift and I want to know exactly where to shift the focus.
One job is with a construction company in a small office and my wardrobe would need a few tweaks but not much.
The second job (the one I really want) is with the design company. I would need to update some. Basically with more creative pieces. Maybe a statement necklace or two. I would love to add a couple of vintage pieces if I get this one.
The third job would require the biggest change. It is an office manager for a dental office. I would have to up the professional quota of the wardrobe. I would be the point of contact for the vendors and any client that would need financing.

All this to say I am going to sit tight and see where I need to put my money.

All those jobs sound great. If you take the job with the design company, you have some great pieces to build on.

It's great that you had three interviews and they went well! It sounds like some exciting change ahead for you. And you'll have a good base to build on for any of them, as Joy points out.

Thank-you! I hope one comes through. I have another interview on Monday so we shall see. I have been taking stock of my closet and by making some changes I think I will be fine. I wanted to take my style in a different direction so this may definitely be the push I need.

Very smart to hold off and wait until you can focus. Whichever job you get, it will be a good treat to be able to get a few things that will make you feel comfortable and ready-to-go.
