So I've worn tights twice recently and ripped the both. one in the toe box, the other over high thigh. although neither rips would show I tossed them out. How do you take care of your hosiery? What's your rip rate? How much should one pay for hosiery? Do you buy tights every fall/winter?

HELP!! My hosiery is more like hole-ery.
