This dress accidentally followed me home on Sunday. I plan to wear with leggings, not barelegged like here. Keep or return?

I vote Yay! Love the floaty, ethereal nature of the dress. Summery light, but in an autumnal palette; I can see many styling opportunities here

Any chance we can see it with the leggings? I'm afraid they won't look right with the flow and softness of the dress, but I'm hoping I'm entirely wrong. The shoes/boots will probably matter too. I just want to make sure the dress "plays well with others" before voting.

Kate, I just changed into my jammies so probably not today, but if it helps, I was wearing leggings and boots when I tried the dress on in the store, and it looked good to me. But tomorrow I'll try to post a more styled outfit. To me it works as a tunic. I could also wear it with tights as it's not too short on me. It's the flowiness that I really love about it.

cciele, thanks! I really love the pattern, unfortunately my Droid camera really sucks (and of course the lighting here isn't great).

I'm on board with the dress and can't wait to see how you will accessorize it for Fall and Winter. Maybe this is one of those dresses that can be worn with a long-sleeved knit top underneath when the westher gets colder. Lovely colors, nice cnoice.

What a happy accident I love this dress on you, and can see it working with leggings; though if you pair with black leggings it may take a little extra work to balance that darkness with the lightness of the dress.

I really like it on you! Very cute and can be versatile. It probably works better with bare legs and pumps/sandals and a cami than leggings. But doesn't hurt to try! best of luck!

thanks for your responses, everyone! I do think it will work with leggings, as much of it is actually very dark. My droid camera isn't the best. I'll post pictures with leggings from my point and shoot camera in another thread, since I can't add them here because this is a realtime post.
