2018 was my third NAS. Thank you Angie and all for your excellent reviews and recommendations! I had a blast.

Since Nordies skews urban for my taste, I don't always have good luck finding things that suit. but scored big time this year, as I have in the past, with underpinnings. For reference, I am a curvy hourglass size 12. Here's how the things I tried worked out for me.

1, Natori Bliss Cotton Girl Briefs. I found my dream underwear! Seriously, these are fantastic and were the hit of NAS for me. They are cotton, don't ride up, are supremely comfortable and look nice. I ordered one pair the first day of the sale and feel lucky to have scored a few more before it closed. I want to fill my drawer with these and am already looking forward to next year's sale. Medium was the right size for me.

2. Chantelle Intimates Rive Gauche Underwire Bra. This was my third consecutive year buying this bra. It's a workhorse (I like it because the wires don't itch or poke) made affordable by NAS.

3. Hanky Panky Retro High Waist Thong. I'm not a thong person but tried this one last year on Joy's recommendation and fell in love with the comfy fabric and high waist. While not as comfortable as the Natori Bliss Girl Briefs, I've got room for few of these in my wardrobe and happily added this pretty wine color this year.

4. Avec les Filles Double Face Plaid Wool Blend Coat. Oh how I wish this worked! Angie, you are right, the fabric and construction are beautiful. I sized down per the reviews. Alas, it didn't work due to cut. Straight coats don't work on my shape. I learned this years ago and need to just stop trying though love the menswear look so much I could not resist this one. Lesson learned. Again

5. 1901 Plaid Midi Shirtdress. Another I wish worked because the fabric and pattern appealed very much. (Checks are my bag.) This dress ran snug on me in my regular size (buttons pulled at bust). I decided to forego rather than size up.

6. Trouve Wrap Blouse. Surprise! This one breaks two shopping rules (no black, no polyester) but decided to give it a try because I am desperate for tops and thought I might like the pattern and drape. I adore the abstract bird pattern because it has a vintage vibe and decided to keep. The medium fit with room to spare.

Thank you!
