Yay! It sounds like you will give it a whirl!! Maybe not for court days, but how many of those are there???

it looks great on you and it gives you a FAB shape. i don't see any neck stubbiness. have you tried the vince leather jacket? if you have room in your budget, it may be more adaptable to "work" as well as "play."

I think it looks great...and you do NOT have a stubby neck!

For those who said nay, please let me know if it was fit or "need" that prompted your vote.

Thanks, Nancy. I really do have a neck issue, which is that my thyroid is swollen. I'm probably way more focused on it than anyone else, but it still makes me feel self-conscious.

If you can make it work for work, it'd be the best of both worlds. I sometimes forget that there are non-corporate-dress-code jobs out there.

Rae, the truth is I mostly just do what I want. I could not wear this to court, obviously, but I think I could wear it to my own (or Mary's and my future) office... Am contemplating!

This is such a chic, unique jacket. To me, it is completely in line with the look you have been aspiring to -- it has that special unexpected edge. I think it is completely fab and do not see a neck issue. As others have said, I would be trying to make it work for work! The cool, leather-clad lawyer...

After initially leaving this at the store, I have since ordered it and will now have to make a tough decision about which leather jacket to keep. This one is killer in my book. I hope you will feel fab wearing it.

I have this jacket at home and I'm also thinking about it. It's so soft and has that AllSaints vibe you seem to like. It's very Una to my non-expert eye.

The hook closure is interesting and seems well thought out. On the other hand, how do you feel about the stretchy sleeve parts (I don't know what they're called)? I have one leather jacket with knit sleeve parts and I think they're prone to pilling. But... they also create that great slim shape.

Angie's suggestion of using a pencil skirt is very intriguing.

Let it sit for a bit.

I voted yay!

I vote Yay, I am looking for the same thing.
PS your neck issue is the same as my legs issue. According to those that know we do not have an issue!!!

Love it!!!!!!
You hair is so different! Love the color!

Um -- LOVE. (To be said with that teenage inflection that gives "love" two syllables.)

Una I think it looks great on you. I'm not familiar with your work environment but I could see that jacket worn casually and as part of a more corporate outfit. I would find it hard to walk away from myself. And you do not have a stubby neck... I vote yay.
