Oooh, these rain booties arrived, and I think they are my holy grail rain boot (though I've yet to test drive them in rain.)
Gorgeous forest green (love!) They also come in red, yellow, navy, and black.
The elastic is stretchy enough for my high volume insteps, but the shape is dainty with a slight heel, and they are quite lightweight and comfortable.
The laces are decorative only, btw-the shoe is solid with no tongue. Size up if you're in between sizes.
I wouldn't wear these in deep snow due to the elastic panels, but they should be perfect for typical Seattle weather. They are so cute that I will happily wear them as a normal casual bootie that happens to be great for rain.
I highly recommend them!
