Sorry it's taken so long to get around to doing this. I have not even had time to keep up with the forum over the past few days.
The wedding was beautiful. I was pleasantly surprised, because after hearing some of the bride and groom's ideas, I wasn't sure how it was going to come together. A few of my sisters were able to steer everything in a tasteful and elegant direction. I was thrilled with how all the women dressed up. Most of the men wore dress pants with casual shirts, and a few wore dress shorts with polo type shirts. But it was a very laid back atmosphere, and I think just about any outfit would have been acceptable. I did manage to talk Jason and LT into wearing the plaid shorts. Jason may have been a tad underdressed--but he can pull it off. I think most of the men were wishing they were in shorts too.
I did not feel over or under dressed and received lots of compliments on my coral dress and metallic sandals. Thank you all for your encouragement thru this. I know it sounds petty, but it was really a major challenge for me, and having a group of women backing me up and helping me along the way was priceless.
