My family and I spent this weekend at a vacation rental around the Admiralty Inlet/Discovery Bay. We visited Fort Worden, a state park that used to be an army base. The bunkers are full of dark tunnels that you can still wander through, and there are some actual sandy beaches, a rarity (most Puget sound beaches tend to be rocky.) We hit the beach at the warmest, driest part of the day, which was lucky; you can see how high the winds are!
