High volume foot shoe reviews plus k/r?

1. Dolce Vita Yuri bootie. Comfortable! Recommended (I have high volume feet -- wide but small). Shape is more classic than trendy. Do I need a bootie in this color? Is it too dark on me? Redundant with the LD Tuttles below? K/R?
2. LD Tuttle booties I posted about these before. Honestly I was still waffling (price, impractical for my lifestyle, not many occasions to wear, etc). Then my cat made the decision for me. While trying them on "one more time" I stepped in a hairball. So these are not a k/r. Comfortable as gloves for your feet, and aside from my heel slipping (typical problem for me), they fit well.
3. Frye Reina. Soft, nice leather and they look great but they felt a bit tight on my left foot. Also, since I'm keeping the LD Tuttles, these have to go back, too similar. They are not as suitable for a high volume foot as #1 and #2.
4. Zara Mules. An Angie pick. While I love them, they feel a bit tight on my left foot. Should I expect them to stretch out? They're not too comfortable. They might work better on a low volume foot.
5. Cheap Monday Go Treaded Sandal. They may not last, but they feel great and I like the way they look. The upper is fabric, and the shoe is velcro adjustable in three places! I'm thinking keep, I already love them. Great for all foot types, but especially high volume.
6. Cheap Monday sandal up close.
7. Luxury Rebel Elena sandals. I love the way these look with white jeans, but they didn't work for my feet. They are too long, and if I size down, they will be too tight across the foot. These would work for a narrow foot.

8-9. Bonus pics of the Mom jeans one size up. I'm falling out of love. I think the back view is better than the front. k/r?

So -- I'm undecided about #1 and #4. Feel free to weigh in on all of the other shoes too! As well as the "high rise boyfriend jeans." Nothing is cast in stone. Thank you!

I love the Tuttles and I don't think you need #1 if keeping the T's. I like the look of #4 but not if they are not comfortable, I think this style will be available elsewhere. Your other choices here are great and should work well with your wardrobe. May I ask are the pants in #4 the UO harem leggings? Whatever they are I love them on you.

I am going to echo Deborah on #1 and #4. #1 is OK but #2 is fantastic. I guess kitty made that decision for you, and it was a good one!

I agree about the 4s. If you already know that they are not comfortable then it's better not to keep them.
All the shoes look great but my favorite is 7.

Your entire outfit in #2 is fantastic - including the shoes. Kitty knows. In such cases I ask myself why I would pull any of the other shoes if I had these. Sometimes there is a reason (usually because I don't always want a higher heel) otherwise return all the other boots. I really like the Zara slides on you but not if they are not comfortable. Not loving the jeans.

Personally, I like the Dolce Vita booties better than the Tuttles, and I agree that you don't need both (probably). LOVE THE JEANS IN #3!

Not a big fan of the Zara mules or the Cheap Monday sandals. But the Rebel Elena sandals are fantastic! Have been wanting something studded for summer...

The mom jeans are ok, not bad, could be a good staple for the season, but they don't look as cool as the #3 ones.

I really like the Tuttles and the DVs, but I agree that the DVs would be redundant with the Tuttles. I also like the mules on you, but not if comfort isn't there. I love the LRs so it's a shame they don't work on your foot.

You can rock a world of denim looks, but I have to admit, I'm not a fan of the mom jeans.

The Tuttles look great. In fact that whole outfit is outstanding.
Definitely return the mules if they're not comfortable.
As for the mom jeans, well they are sure not conventionally flattering, so that's a tough decision. The other jeans and pants that you're wearing in these pics look much better to me. If they're not expensive and you want to try the trend then keep otherwise save your money for something else that's really fab.

I love the Tuttles. Kitty chose wisely and well. That whole outfit in #2 is stunning. You look beautiful in those light neutrals.

The DVs look good too, but they do feel a bit redundant with the Tuttles.

Let the Zara slides go. If they are not comfy, they won't be worth it. If slides become a thing again, you'll find another (more comfy) knock-off version still in time to be ahead of the curve. Zara's always the very first, right?

I LOVE those Cheap Monday sandals!! I am very curious about them for my own casual summer capsule. Are they TTS? They look "springy" by which I don't mean spring-like but like the kind of soles that put a spring in your step.

Too bad about the Luxury Rebels. I like the look of them, too. Good review.

As for the mom jeans, here is my thinking -- if the tags are still on, send them back for now. You may find a version you like better a bit later on. These may not be "the ones." Although didn't you do that with your first Camerons and then ordering them back again? Or was that Mo? Hmmmm.....

I like #1 a lot, but I agree they are probably redundant if you have to keep the LDTs. Pass on the slides if they aren't comfy now. Thank you for these reviews; will love to have this reference!

I like #1 but prefer #2 - the color and finish has the edge for me, good call

I also really like the slightly darker tip on #3, I know you aren't keeping them, but for some reason that makes the shoe look more refined/pointed to me in the distance shot, I need to keep that in mind when looking at solid color shoes, hmm...

#4 I'd pass because I feel like I've seen a similar shoe a lot and you should be able to get a comfy one.

#6 is the kind of sandals I'd end up wearing all the time, and they look good. I'd be agonizing over the black vs. off white myself.

The mom jeans just don't look special/intentional to me. I like the idea of a highwaisted looser tapered jean though. All your other pants you are wearing rock. What are the #3 jeans?

I did like the Frye's (also just adore your Fox sweater), but the Tuttle's sounded more comfortable anyways.

I like kitty's boot choice! I also like #1, and don't find it redundant because A) the coloring is warm/earthy as opposed to somewhat warm/sleek, B) the leather textures are quite different, and C) #1 looks more casual and #2 looks more dressy to me. Please wear outfit #2 as much as you can The Cheap Monday sandals are fun. If the mules aren't comfy, they should probably go back. Not feeling those jeans; I'm not sure but I think they're too curvy, a straighter cut pair might work better but also it might defeat the purpose?

Thank you -- great points here. I know I have not had as much time to be on the forum lately which makes me especially grateful for your replies. Life has been stressful and I'm not into posting WIWs either. Although outfit #2 is a WIW, worn last night. We went from snow last week, which did not stick, to 80 degrees! Mountain weather.

Aida -- I am sort of thinking 1 and 2 are different enough to keep as well. I think you nailed it regarding the Mom jeans. They are wide in the low hip and thigh, where I am also wide. At first I thought, go ahead, embrace those curves. And these looked good to me. Now, I'm not so sure. I think I may be looking for a high waisted straight leg jean, but one that is not fitted in the thigh and knee the way they were a few years ago.

Rachy and Rabbit -- I may have chosen the Frye's as well if not for the kitty! I think the leather is soft enough so the tightness of the left foot would have relaxed. But kitty made the choice for me.

Suz -- the Cheap Mondays are not springy. More like a solid hiking shoe sole, not a springy sneaker sole. I just noticed a bit of the buckle below the ankle rubbing so I may have to wear them around for a few hours before I commit (potentially sobbing…)

Rabbit and others interested in the jeans in #3 -- They are Rag and Bone Sheffield wash. I tried them in a 25 and 27 last year, then they sold out of 26 so I lost interest. They did come back in store, but in the meantime I went to Barney's in SF and the SA talked me out of them. Not age appropriate was his reason. Fast forward 12 months later and I found them NWT on eBay. It was meant to be. I LOVE LOVE LOVE them. They have a higher rise which I can keep high with a belt, or I can wear them really slouchy drop crotch style. They are a lighter fabric than say, the Mom jeans which makes them slouch just right.

Deborah -- Yes those are the UO slinky harem leggings/pants! They got marked down to $29 so I got them in 2 sizes. They are a cheap rayon so I'm sure they will shrink.

Suz -- I think it was Mo. But wait -- there is Mo connection. I purchased my first Cs on a shop about with Mo in Tahoe 2 years ago.

I admit to having a hard time making out the details in the pics. At first glance I pick #1 and the black mules that I think you said are too tight?
Heh, Suz yes, that WAS me with the return then search again for the Cameron's. And to bring it full circle, the ones I finally got were from Denise off eBay! lol I declined trying on that one pair with Denise in Tahoe because I was on SYC and didn't want to be tempted. So it took me over a year to find my fit afterall. Silly me.

Denise, I'm all for embracing the curves! I just think these don't quite do it right. A straighter pair might likely show your curves off better; I've found that to be the case with baggier denim!

My favorites are kitty's shoes and the Elenas -- which makes me sad, since I have a wider, high volume foot. Grateful for the review!

As for the mom's jeans --- I think they perhaps don't go far enough into the "mom aesthetic" to read as deliberate, does that make sense. However, I don't seem them as particularly unflattering. I think they might work given a stronger styling with, say, a plaid shirt?

You, of course, are as fabulous as ever an amazing taste!

I think you should pass on 1(redundant), 3 (don't love them and redundant), and 4 (not comfortable).

The fit of the mom jeans combined with the wash is what is bugging me - there is a certain mid-wash for which I just have a poison eye. I think it's the same reason I returned those flares, now that I think of it...

Love the booties in 1 and 2. Adore the Reina to but see how these can be redundant. I don't love the mules for some reason. 5 are fun and have kind of a geek chic vibe. Very cool. Too bad about the gladiators. They are nice but they look too long for your feet. Great to see your fab outfits. LOVE them all!

I love how your kitty encouraged you to keep a pair of booties. That's the best way to do it.

I vote return the uncomfy Zara mules. Life is too short to worry about unhappy feet.

I also vote send back the Mom Jeans. Your pajama jeans are sooooooo much better.

Ah....very interesting about the Camerons.

As for the Rag and Bones, I am now on that bandwagon, too. Oh, the premium denim drug. There is no cure for it. Mine are a different jean/ wash, but let's face it...it's the same pricey addiction.

That would be such a shame about the Cheap Mondays...but if they hurt, banish them!! Better sandals are out there!

I actually like #1 because they are a bit darker and warmer in color. A gal needs tan boot options, yes?
