Last year I picked up a pair of Ralph Lauren Chelsea style boots as a back-up pair for my beloved Steeve Maddens' (which are held together with shoe polish and weather proofing spray!). They had a higher shaft and I didn't know if I would love them as much. I wore them last winter under trousers, where they were essentially covered, with the vamp or toe showing.
Are these the kind of high shaft bootie that is on trend? Or is a higher heel required? IF they are 'on trend' how are they styled'?
