High-low chunky metallic knit k/r

Hello YLF,
I feel kind if bad for asking one more k/r and not being a lot in the forum. Life has been very busy and the times I have for fashion is when DD is at the gym and I browse winners.
What do you think of this shirt as a chunky shirt for both pants and skirts.Has mommy gone completely cacao?

I think the sweater is pretty, but I wouldn't rate it a 10. To my eye, the bulk of the sweater needs to be balanced by more length in front. If it was the same exact sweater but a few inches longer, it would be perfect!

Celia, I am not loving this - I think it's the style of the knit combined with the length. I'd like to see it longer and a little drapier. No worries about posting when you can, at least to me!

Hey Celia, I like the sweater, but I don't think it's worth it. It would be much more flattering if it was longer and a little less roomy. Don't worry - the perfect sweater will come along!

Celia, after reading Angie's Debombing the Pencil Skirt post, I think this sweater would work with slim skirts. Would you wear it with skirts or do you want something to wear with pants? I like the longer length in the back. Ideally it could be a bit more fitted. Are the sleeves high and fitted under the arm? I can't tell from the photo.

Joy I haven't been able to find a skirt so realistically I should be looking for a skirt for pants that I already have.
And it is not fitted under the arms.

I'm a navy vote, primarily because I think you may need one that's a wee bit slimmer. This one would really only work with a high-waisted pencil skirt, and even then it could be too boxy because of where the hem falls on you. I do love the sparkly fabric and the idea of a high-low hem, though! I think you can do better

Nay here also. Celia, they had metallic high-low tops at the Bay which were too short on me but may work on you. I think that top will fit you better/
