Is "gloss" the same as "shimmer"? Last year, I found a bunch of shimmer hose in nude and black by a company called Preston of York (Preston & York? Can't quite make out the font on the package.) The packaging says they were specially made for Dillard's. They were on clearance, so I stocked up. The shimmer is subtle, but very pretty in low lighting, much as you've described. I don't know if they carry them still, I keep meaning to go back.
I've also worn Wolford hosiery with a little gloss to it, in a nude color - pantyhose and stayups. Wolfords were definitely nicer, softer, and more durable - -but pricier for sure. Because eventually they run, just like any hosiery, I usually hunt these down on eBay, although I will buy off the Wolford site or their B&M stores for higher denier tights or fancy specialty stuff.
I think Hanes Silk Reflections has a very nice sheen to it by day, although I don't think it is glossy or shimmery, really.
