I like Joe's Jeans. They have two cuts that are particularly pear-friendly. The Honey is a curvy cut, and the Visionaire is a high-waisted (well, higher-waisted, I think mine are like a 9" rise which is mid-rise for me, but that's what I like) cut.
Paige doesn't work so well for me, although it does work for some pears. I carry my weight on the high hip and they are cut slimmer there, I think, so I always have to size up and then the waist is too big. I have a pair of Paige skinnies but have to wear a belt to keep them from sliding down the waist.
I have a pair of old Lucky Sweet N Lows that also fit quite nicely although the rise is a bit low for me. I don't find Lucky's recent fabrics to be as nice as they used to be though.
And not premium, but I have 2 pairs of Kut from the Kloth jeans that fit quite well and have a higher rise.
ETA: So, the rise thing. I prefer the look of a lower front rise (like Janet I am really short waisted, but also have a normal-to-long waist to crotch measurement) but I require a certain amount of length in the back in order to keep things decent (no plumber's crack). I like an 8-9" front rise, and at least a 13.5" back rise. Most "mid-rise" jeans are actually low-rise on me, and most so-called "high-rise" jeans (although we are not talking about Mom jeans here) are mid-rises on my body. So you need to find your rise sweet spot (ignore what they call them, just look at measurements), and that helps with the jeans search a lot.
