Beware of higacking on line orders-my shoe order from Off Broadway, Rack Room Shoes was higacked by balk--as soon as I realized what happened I tried to cancel..unable to do that..anyone know how and whaer to report this...

I placed an order at off broadway shoes. Wrote down the order number, and before I had a chance to check the e mail conformation number I had to leave my computer. When I returned to my computer a short while later
I found the conformation with the same picture of the shoes, a different conformation number and the email was from Belk-NOT from Off Broadway. I then contacted my Off Broadway account and was informed I did not have an order. Received more e mails from Belk, not Off Broadway. Then more e mails from Belk-one saying my order was shipped. I immediately tried to cancel the order. Can't do that-even phoning them-they won't cancel the order. They say can only cancel within 30 minutes of placing the order.

Never heard of anything like this happening. But if you honestly believe that something is off and an order was placed with your credit card that you did not place, contact your credit card fraud department.

my friend ordered from a catalog over the phone. They asked if she'd like to have Amazon Prime. She said no. Then her credit card company contacted her about the Amazon Prime charge, which they had denied but also she would not get her original order and they cancelled her credit card and made her wait for a replacement. While this went on, she had another order out with qvc and she had to send them a check for it.

Unless possibly Belk was the store actually fulfilling the order and Off Broadway was the middleman? Like Amazon and Zappos, or vice versa. In any case, if you are charged for something you don't get or a different price, call your bank ASAP.
