I just had a fabulous time meeting Angie, and thanks so much Mochi for setting up breakfast and lunch. I love and meeting my wonderful new friends.

PS - i wanted to say a proper goodbye to Bella, modgrl, Mochi, Diana, girlx (is that right). Didn't mean to rush off and ended up in banana republic trying this dress on. Not sure about the stretch because it hugs every curve and I'm sucking it in.

It looks great (and you look very thin), but it's no fun sucking in all the time. Would you feel comfortable not sucking in or trying it with shapewear?

Nah. If I don't feel comfortable in a dress I won't wear it with a spanx type.

Love the stripes on you. But if you aren't comfortable in it, I vote pass. I find woven dresses are good for not clinging as close to the body. (Time was too short but it was lovely to meet you!)

It's a nice dress but I have to say I am not loving it on you. I can't put my finger on exactly what it is tho. Maybe thinner stripes would look better for some reason? In my humble opinion it's just not as fab on you as other things I have seen you wear.

I like it on you and can't tell there's any sucking in going on, but after that huge feast of a lunch, I think anyone would be sucking it in! Of course, the clincher is whether it feels right to you.

It was so great to meet you in person! We'll definitely have to get together in DC.

Are you running today? I'm eating breakfast in my hotel, procrastinating -- the wind chill is making the temp outside feel like 1 dregree! I don't know if I can do that -- I may need to wait until I'm back home to do my 10-miler.

I had such a good time with you all! I kind of like the dress and think it looks flattering (and Janet's right about that lunch. I tried on some skinnies in the Rack and was not feeling so skinny. I probably would have liked them in the morning. I'd add your polkadot scarf you had on and some wedge espadrilles?

I'm thinking April is not soon enough for a DC meetup.

Believe it or not, I *did* actually do my run! 10 miles through Central Park in sub-freezing temps! Once I got going, it really didn't feel so cold, and out there in the park there are lots of other crazy runners to keep me motivated (and entertained!).

Wow, N., you are a much braver women than I am. By the time we left you at Zara, I was ready to go home and put my feet up. Also, there is no way I could try on a bodycon dress after that lunch.
