Hi,
I'm new here and was invited by another member. I love fashion and shopping (always have, always will) but don't have a lot of time for it since I am a busy stay-at-home mom. I am petite and pear-shaped. As for my personal style, I used to really love shopping at thrift stores in college, when I had the time to scour the racks for funky vintage finds. Shopping was fun then--I would just get whatever I liked and effortlessly knew what my style was. But then, I had (seemingly!) endless time and money to spend on myself. Now at 36, I'm trying to be more intentional about my purchases and my style (more refined, better quality). But I still like the whole bohemian/vintage chic vibe mixed with classics and trends. Nowadays, I always end up shopping at Old Navy or Gap online because I almost never leave my house to go shopping and they have awesome return policies. Sometimes I can find exactly what I need on Ebay (if there's something very particular that I'm looking for, like Old Navy Sweetheart jeans size 8, for example). Because I've had several pregnancies (I have seven kids all 11-yrs and under), I have lots of clothes in many different sizes in my closet. They are all organized into bins. I was recently checking out the contents of the next-sized-down bin and realized that most of my stuff is just different variations of the same basic things. Not that there's anything wrong with that--makes getting ready in the hectic morning a lot easier! Anyway, I am looking forward to discussing all things fashion and clothing-related on here. (Did I mention that six of my seven kids are BOYS? I need some girl time, lol.)
