Hi again, and K or R - dress

Hi everyone - I've not been around much, and if I have I've been reading, not posting. But I have a few minutes and popped on to look at what everyone's been up to, and to ask opinions on this dress - I feel a bit bad that I've not had a chance to participate, but I'm still asking for help!

Anywho, I saw this dress online, and loved the colours. It's supposed to be tunic length, but I'm a shorty, so it's more like an above the knee dress! I'm wearing thick tights, boots and a long sleeved t-shirt underneath, as rather randomly it's a warm weight knitted dress, with no sleeves!

For the UK readers, it's from Dorothy Perkins! Boots are Duo, tights are Primark.

Hi Butterfly, You look great in that. the colours are so good on you. I can not think of anything that you need to do to it.
I was in Dorothy P's earlier in the week, but that tunic was not there, mind you it is only a small shop so we don't get all the line that they do.

Thanks Aunty - the more I think about it/look at it, the more I love the print/colours of this dress. But it's a new-ish look for me (my other dress is a to the knee one, I've worn it lots since I bought it, so I am trying to get into dresses more).

I never see anything in our Dotty Ps, either, and it's a moderately sized one. But online they have so much! It was free delivery for orders over £40 so I ordered a few bits (and am sending most of it back!).

My goodness, that is a GORGEOUS dress! And so lovely those blues and greens look with your hair colour! I like how you've styled it too, with the monochrome sleekness of black layers and boots letting the dress shine unhampered.

(Can you tell my vote is 'Keep!'?)

Kirti and Mandipa - thank you, I am going to keep it. I know my husband is going to say 'what are you wearing?' in that tone that means he doesn't like it, but ... never mind, I do!

Keep keep keep! The colours are just gorgeous! DP's is one of those shops I never visit - it's just not on my radar but I'm changing my mind after seeing this, it's so lovely.

Wow. I LOVE that dress! It looks super on you! It also looks really, really comfortable. If I had a dress like this I would wear it constantly as part of my MOTG capsule but also for going out for casual dates with hubby and with friends.

I think it works great the way you've styled it. You could also wear it without the sweater underneath and with lighter hose or no hose in the slightly warmer (but still not summery) months - the transitional times. It could also work with the right jacket over top.

Oh, this is a keeper, for sure. Like Suz said, it will transition well into summer. It would be cute bare-legged with flats and a long cardi worn open. Good to see you again!

Well, that's a resounding 'keep' then! It's already hanging up in my wardrobe, ready to be worn ...

It's slightly 'woolly', although not actually made of wool, I am not sure if I would wear it in the summer, but I would definitely be able to wear it during the transitional seasons - we mostly have transitional weather here in the UK!

DragonflyJ - have a look online at Dorothy Perkins - I only looked because I met a friend for lunch and she was wearing a gorgeous dress from there - I've been missing out all this time! The prices are reasonable too - this dress was £25.
