Found at consignment store - Helmut Lang slouchy wool trousers! Perfect fit (I hope!) and bought with credit. I was just griping about this here. Coincidence or YLF karma?
 

Quick photo added: they are a wool/viscose blend and a bit wrinkled here but will drape nicely.  And a massive amount of googling led me to a real stock image:
