HEWI - the perfect white t

This might sound strange but my number one HEWI is the perfect plain white tee.

Scoop neck, reasonably fitted, substantial enough fabric to not show every lump and bump and dressy enough to wear to work (smart casual) under a blazer or cardigan. I'm not asking for much!

Suggestions appreciated especially from Aussie and Kiwi forum members.

I'd recommend Lands' End or Eddie Bauer, but I don't know if they're worth the international shipping/cost.

My favorites this year haveben from Uniqlo. Not cotton, but they have a great hand and wonderful drape. And they wash like a dream. I've bought but the lone and short sleeve version. This find is from the us site, but I assuming thst it's available in Australia

This might be a bit off the wall, but I really like Cotton On men's basic tees in the scoop and crew necks: http://cottonon.com/AU/p/cotto.....41303.html

The sizing is a bit variable, but the fabric is substantial and they've worn well. They're a slim men's cut, so no waist shaping, but still fit pretty close to the body. The women's shirts are that really fine cotton and they shrink like whoa in the wash I loved them for a drapey option new, but they don't last.

I like Trenery t-shirts. I have a couple of their linen ones and they have lasted well (and are not too sheer). They are a fluid fit but not oversized or boxy. I notice they also have a cotton one. Could be worth a try.
