This is kind of a pointless post, but I'm just so proud of my little sister's budding fashion sense. She just turned fourteen but she's already a perfect curvy hourglass. She chose the cutest and most unusual outfit to wear to the movies the other day. This outfit proves a short-waisted girl can wear a high-waisted skirt, and a slightly bottom heavy hourglass can look great in a pencil skirt. I don't know the exact brand of any of the items, but this is a really close approximation:
Without the buttons and in black: http://www.chadwicks.com/cloth.....d=j9247729
It hit her extremely high up, exactly beneath the bust, which is important. There were also some thick, suspender like, straps that were neatly at the sides of her bust rather than cutting across it. And the skirt was in a slightly rougher fabric than this one, therefore more casual. So cute
She also wore a top something like this one, but in bright yellow and a very casual cotton knit fabric: http://shop.nordstrom.com/S/29.....=yahoo_ssp
And shoes like these, but a bit plainer:http://www.thisnext.com/item/7.....ntent=item
What do you think? I never would've considered wearing something like this to the movies at her age. This seems like the kind out of outfit that work for almost any hourglass. I hope some of you take inspiration. I think I might widen my idea of casual wear myself.
